[Vegetarianslimming] Is there an echo in here?

Mainly because I seem to be starting over .... over.... ove ..... ov ..... o .......................

I had word with my body (in particular the fat cells) and stated that they had better buck up or else, as of yesterday no such undertaking had occurred and therefore a State of War exists between me and those fat cells, tomorrow morning Boot Camp starts!

[Vegetarianslimming] Weight loss take 57

or that is what it feels like at any rate!!

Any how I have my new starting point (which is up two pounds on last week *sigh*) and I have 47 days before we go away, now whilst I fully understand that I am not going to be fully svelte by then I would like to be losing some weight and getting some good habits set up.  So back tracking, back on the rations and in Friday more blood is being taken to see how my thyroid is doing - so watch this space (I will lose this weight, I will!!)

Another half pound down. Of course it is boring at this stage.

Hi, I'll try to answer your questions :-)
My name is Pam, and I have been eating in a vegetarian manner for about 6 weeks.
This may sound silly, but I can't call myself a vegetarian; I don't want to be
defined by what I eat.  I have chosen to give up meat for several reasons, and
I'm not sure if it will be a forever change, but I'm thinking it will be.
Although I haven't made the step to vegan, I am currently limiting eggs and
dairy products.  I am definitely hoping to lose weight, although that is only a
partial reason I have chosen to modify my eating habits.  I live in the Atlanta
area.  I am the only person in my household (husband and 2 boys) who is
committed to eating in this manner, but as I am the queen of the home and in
charge of groceries and cooking, they have had a significant reduction in the
amount of meat that they consume at home.  :-)  I love to research recipes and
would love to share what I enjoy.  Thanks for including me!  I'm looking forward
to the support and
ideas this group will provide.
Pam

Lost a few pounds even though I have had some vegan binge food nights. That is my weakness- eating before I go to sleep. Last night was the first night for a while that I didn't eat sweets. I had a snack that was reasonable. Felt even better this am. Was up an hour earlier and felt refreshed.

I just got out of my weekly yoga class. I did sweat and stretch really good and now feel very relaxed. Gotta love yoga.

Knees over ankles and not past, shoulders over wrists, hips over knees, etc...
