Well, I _think_ mine was KitchenAid but I don't really remember. Not, I think, CuisineArt. (Ya see, I'm not exactly into brand loyalty.)
Funny, I worked without one for years and years, but found I loved having it for slicing vegetables, grating, and yes making seitan (the kind that mixes tofu in with the wheat gluten). I miss it now :(
