Re: [Vegetarianslimming] Waiving Weight Watchers Plans - just Watching the Weight through Social Support Meetings
Our WW has a vegetarian plan now

Now that's a very interesting thought.
A vegetarian - uses WW - not for the food plan, but for the social support
and finds it very effective to follow a well-designed weight-reduction plan
- her own plan - supported by the backup support that the meetings give.
Over the years, on many lists, vegetarians have been conflicted about WW's
food plans. But why not just eliminate the problem (after removing meat
from the diet, ignore WW's plan), and just do your best and go for social
support to the weekly meetings.
Nice. I think I learned something here. Thank you, Lila

[Vegetarianslimming] Re: Waiving Weight Watchers Plans
Hope you find it helpful. There are vegetarians in WW, both in the group I go to and online, but I just wouldn't be able to eat the amounts they recommend and lose weight, so I have to work out my own way of doing it.

[Vegetarianslimming] Re: Hi *waving*
Yes, I don't think I'd have managed without the meetings to go to.
But their food talk is generally irrelevant to me.

Hello.
I have lost 50 lbs. (in 65 weeks) with Weightwatchers.
I don't follow their plan though, but it is useful to go to a meeting every week and get weighed and encouraged.
