Hi Judith and not forgetting Pickles!

Where are you going to visit in England?

I live in Whitstable in the South East. It's a coastal town famous for
oysters. It is also 5 miles from the ancient city of Canterbury. Around 70
km from London.

DRAGON - Re: [Vegetarianslimming] CFS and Chronic Pain

Hi Dragon,

Well, it's now 'tomorrow' so hopefully you have your new medication.  With that and your new dietitian, here's hoping that things will finally start getting back on track for you. It's good to know that your doctor is doing everything possible to help you to understand your medication and diagnosis.

Cheers from Marie

I am making a herb garden, and have grown thyme, parsley and chives from
seed.I also have chervil, lemon grass and fennel growing. In the middle is
an artichoke and I am about to put in an asparagus plant.

[Vegetarianslimming] recipee: stuffed mushrooms

Sounds delish!
Has anyone tried the one calorie per spray olive oil product? I use it a
lot, plus the stir fry one for my veggies.

I have two jack russells. One is 3 and the other one is a lot older. The
younger one loves to walk, and I have to carry the older one home uphill
nearly always.
So I guess thee are my motivators to get out and about too!

[Vegetarianslimming] Wednesday

Hi there,

How are you doing?

I'm not doing great diet wise. Chocolate and caffeine. Too much of both.
Need I say more? Doesn't make me feel good so why do I do it?

What kind of way of eating do you all do? I ask as I'm trying to find an
eating plan thats right for me.

Hey it has been a long time since I shared anything but I tried these the other night(modified a meat recipe) and it turned out great.  The left over stuffing is also great on top of eggplant.

[Vegetarianslimming] recipee: stuffed mushrooms

Hey it has been a long time since I shared anything but I tried these the other night(modified a meat recipe) and it turned out great.  The left over stuffing is also great on top of eggplant.

Ingredients:

2lbs whole crimini(baby bell) mushrooms

drop of olive oil(about a dime)
Mushroom stems chopped finely(I also put in the broken caps)
1 small onion chopped finely
½ cup parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar/jack cheese
1 cup bread crumbs
½ teaspoon Vegan Worcestershire sauce(can be purchased online)
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon oregano
¼ teaspoon sage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Saute mushroom stems and onion, In olive oil, cook until softened.  Then add remaining ingredients, except mushroom caps.  Stir until well combined.  Stuff mushrooms with approximately 1 teaspoon of stuffing and place stuffingside up on cookie sheet.  Bake for about 15 minutes, or until mushrooms are softened.
side note:  I use a food processor to chop up the stems and onion and have also used it to combine all of the ingreidients and it turns out really smooth.

Have a great day,

Sarah
